More Challenges for the Physically Challenged

As I was travelling on the Old Mahabalipuram Road, oh no its not OMR anymore, it is IT- Corridor Road, horseshit I’m wrong again, it is IT Highway, may be I’m wrong again it is Rajiv Gandhi road, Jesus Christ, I believe I’m right this time. It is not only this road got many names in Chennai, Mount Road alias Anna salai, kamaraj salai or Beach road and many more, at this rate a single road will have multiple post codes in the future. I’m not kidding. Anyways I would like to call this road conventionally as OMR which makes lot sense.

During the construction of this OMR, goddamm, I thought its going to be 4 liners each side, as it has come to completion now, it stood to 21/2 liner at most places and 3 liner at other places, as median takes rest of space, as wide as a liner, worlds widest median, with no foot path for the pedestrians and no separate sideway for cyclers to encourage cyclers as provided in any international standard roads, even after witnessing the fuel shortage, TNRDC has taken no steps to encourage neither pedestrians nor cyclers. Worst part is cyclers has to travel along with other motorized vehicles risking there life, in most of the place of OMR, and don’t forget OMR is called as a highway built with international standards.

Median has literally forced all the vehicles to travel, at least a couple of kilometers before they take a U turn, I don’t read any sensible note on this, but still, cant expect more from these morons. For pedestrians there are couple of over bridges at some calculated distance, at deserted areas, I don’t understand what the purpose of this over bridge is?, is this for the pedestrians convenient? TNDRC over bridges at deserted areas will be deserted too, and don’t blame the poor pedestrians for not utilizing your functionality, as it is of more strain to them. Make some sensible decisions morons, use your brains and not kidneys, probably that’s the reason why your ideas stinks.

The more sarcastic part is how a physically challenged person is gonna cross the road, it is challenging question to TNRDC, lets not ridicule this (TNRDC) handicappers any more, I’m not kidding, I have seen many physically challenged people literally crawling to cross the roads, as they are unable to crawl that long to reach the over bridge or even to climb the over bridge, so they dare to challenge their lives in front of speeding vehicle. And we know for our IT professionals, they are humans in Onsite and beasts while on offshore. They care about Lane disciple onsite, offshore they give a shit to it. They don’t have time to worry for this crawlers, what if even if they are hit dead, India has more than a billion population, we can still manage. Goodos to TNRDC and ministry of Highways for joining their hands with Ministry of Health for drawing a smart way to bring down the population by challenging the lives of Physically challenged and Pedestrians.

This writing is not for making fun, or just for ridiculing someone, please think it over, you may have one person from your knows who may be pedestrian or Physically challenged on this OMR. I definitely believe that you don’t want to risk their life, unless you are a moron.
